The farm
The organic farm covers 40 hectares of land in the territory between Pienza and Montepulciano and takes its name from the particular orography of the area, a combination of rolling hills, valleys, ravines and fields in which arable land alternates with olive groves and fruit orchards.
Production
On this land we grow and gather EDIBLE WILD HERBS, ancient fruits, vegetables, medicinal plants and edible flowers for the restaurants and accommodation facilities which require this type of product and CONSULTANCY; we produce pulses and extra virgin olive oil; we are experimenting a system of synergistic gardening and rear free ranging Cinta Senese pigs and Apennine and Massese sheep.
The exploration
Anyone stopping by for lunch or to camp is welcome to explore the many nature paths crossing our land, observe the animals living in the pens and fields and admire the unspoiled environment of the spring water lake.
